Origins

Following in his twin brother’s footsteps, Fady “Sivvy” al-Qasabi was led to the lands of Runeterra at the beginning of Season 3. There, he found himself bound to the thrill of battle and strived every day to hone his skills and climb the ranks.

The brothers’ footsteps remained synchronized after Ramy, also known as “Fr0m 0 2 Her0”, referred him for a spot on his team to live his first-ever competitive experience. For him, this was a chance to travel, have fun, and meet fellow Summoners. The prize pool was the cherry on top, but he had no plans yet to commit to a professional career.

Fast-forward in time, there were rumors in the Egyptian gaming community about the emergence of a new organization called Anubis Gaming. It was said that they were seeking to assemble a League of Legends team comprising five Egyptian players to compete on local and international levels.

At the time, he faced numerous challenges in adjusting to life as a professional player, from being away from home and spending all day in front of a computer screen to encountering language barriers with non-Egyptian teams.

Thus, after playing with well-known teams such as Anubis Gaming, 3BL, and RA’AD, Sivvy opted to take a year off from competitive play. He grappled with keeping pace at high-level competitions at his return, yet didn’t throw in the towel. He transitioned to the jungle role and joined team SND. Unfortunately, this soon turned into a grim experience when, one morning, he discovered that another player was trying out for his position on the team.

Despite being replaced, disregarded, and teamless, Sivvy still searched for an opportunity to compete in the upcoming Nexus event, which was the first and biggest tournament of its kind at the time. He joined team QLASH and exceeded his wildest dreams by overcoming Anubis Gaming and qualifying for the main event.

Alas, this breakthrough did not end well either, as he could not complete his travel requirements on time. This took quite a toll on him, leaving him sleepless, brokenhearted, and without an appetite for days.

Sivvy wasn’t knocked down for too long, though, and soon got back up with team RA’AD. They emerged champions in Season 1 of the IAC Prestige Division 2022 after winning the final in a dominating 3-0 fashion against Anubis Gaming.

They made an exquisite 3-2 comeback against them in the next semi-final and advanced to the IAC 2022 Grand Finals, which were held in LAN for the first time in his home country, Egypt, and in front of thousands of his supporters. Despite placing second, Sivvy remains grateful for the unforgettable experience, which will stay with him as a cherished memory.

With the new Middle East server, he finds renewed motivation and ambition to double his efforts as gaming and esports grow even bigger in the region. Sivvy looks forward to a long career in the field, which may include becoming a coach and a talent in the near future.

Competitive Experience

Sivvy was a member of multiple powerhouses in the region and boasts a diverse career. He played in teams such as POWER eSports, QLASH, 3BL, and Anubis Gaming and is currently an active player with RA’AD in the support role.

He’s had a number of impressive achievements throughout his career, succeeding in qualifying for Nexus, even though he wasn’t able to travel to the main event, and collecting a gold medal in Season 1 of the IAC Prestige Division 2022. He’s also won a set of local and regional tournaments, such as the Red Bull ProSeed 2022 and Rising Stars Season 2.

The highlight of his competitive experience was reaching the IAC 2022 Grand Finals in Egypt and playing in front of his friends and fanbase.

Memories

Sivvy’s most treasured memory is the reverse sweep he accomplished with his team, RA’AD, in the IAC 2022 semi-final. It was a rollercoaster of emotions that left him breathless and had him jump in joy and throw off his headphones when they took down the enemy nexus.

His worst memory is naturally missing the Nexus main event due to travel constraints, and the second worst is losing the IAC 2022 Grand Finals on home soil and in front of his supporters.
